A little bit about us
We are a busy family of six children seeking a dependable Family Assistant / Household Manager to help keep our household running smoothly. The older children are school-aged and attend school during much of the day. Daytime childcare primarily involves our two youngest children (ages 1 and 2), while also helping maintain household routines and organization.
We are looking for someone patient, organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently. Positive discipline is important to us. We use nanny cameras in common areas of the home and appreciate open communication, honesty, and occasional photo or text updates throughout the day.
We have two friendly corgis.
Responsibilities may include:
• Childcare for toddlers
• Meal and snack preparation
• Children’s laundry
• Kitchen reset and dishes
• Tidying children’s spaces
• School and activity logistics
• Occasional transportation
• General household organization
Schedule is generally Monday through Friday from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
Compensation: $[phone number hidden] per week based on experience, references, and qualifications.
We are hoping to find someone interested in becoming a consistent and trusted part of our family’s routine.

We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and can work independently without needing a detailed task list each visit. Responsibilities may include family laundry (washing, folding and putting away), changing bed linens, tidying and resetting children's rooms/play areas, light kitchen cleanup, organizing children's clothing and supplies, simple meal prep for the children, grocery/fridge organization, and occasional household errands or returns.
This is not primarily a deep-cleaning position. We are looking for someone who enjoys organizing, meal prep, laundry and the day-to-day tasks that make a busy family's week easier.
We would like to start with approximately 8 hours per week, ideally split between two weekday visits while the children are at daycare. There may be an opportunity for additional hours over time if it is a great fit.
The ideal person is dependable, organized, comfortable taking initiative, has reliable transportation, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys creating order in a busy household.
Occasional childcare may also be requested—for example, daycare closures, date nights, or times when a parent needs coverage—so comfort and experience caring for two young children is important. Childcare would not be the primary responsibility of the position.
Experience as a family assistant, nanny, household manager, or similar role is a plus. References required.
Compensation: $30 hour, depending on experience.

When watching the kids, responsibilities include feeding the kids, making sure they are getting along, transporting them to their activities, and having fun. I prefer to keep the exposure to electronics to a minimum so fun activities and playing outside are what I encourage.
While watching the kids. I hope the nanny is able to help around the house such as pick up around the house, cleaning dishes, and washing/folding laundry.
