We are a loving, active family near Higley and Pecos in Gilbert looking for a wonderful, career-minded childcare professional, early childhood development expert, or seasoned nanny aged 21 or older to join our family dynamic. This is a long-term position requiring a two-year commitment for Wednesdays only, from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, with guaranteed hours. Flexible start date around July 29th. Motherhood experience is also highly valued and a wonderful plus, but not required.
Your primary, day-to-day focus will be providing attentive, screen-free care for our active 2.5 year old boy. Our 5.5 year old son will join the fun during school breaks, so we need someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys pivoting to care for both boys when school is out. We practice respectful caregiving that values emotional validation paired with firm, loving boundaries. We also have two sweet, potty-trained dogs: a twelve-year-old senior mini-poodle and an energetic six-month-old standard doodle puppy who is currently thriving in professional training.
Main duties include preparing balanced meals and snacks, managing afternoon nap time (2 hours), and handling light child-related tidying, dishes, and the children's laundry. We love keeping the boys active and highly encourage morning adventures, so we are excited to find a reliable partner who is completely comfortable driving the children and feels fully confident to independently research, plan, and execute fun educational outings.
