Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30–5:30 PM (15 guaranteed hours/week). Consistent availability all five days is required. If strongly desired, we would be willing to increase to 20 guaranteed hours per week.
Pay & Benefits: $33–37/hr depending on experience; W-2 employment through a payroll service; paid weekly; 20 hours PTO + paid holidays; 20 hours sick time; mileage reimbursement; 12-month contract with long-term relationship desired.
Afternoons include meeting the girls at school bus driveway drop-offs, unpacking lunches, preparing snacks, supporting routines and transitions, and transportation to occasional activities. We’d love someone who enjoys actively engaging with kids through pretend play, games, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and creative activities. We also value someone comfortable setting clear boundaries while responding empathetically to emotions and individual needs. We strongly believe in meeting a child where they’re at and showing them respect, love, and care during moments of big feelings.
The role includes light household assistance such as tidying toys, light laundry/folding, dishwasher loading/unloading, mail/package retrieval, snack prep, and occasional small errands.
Our ideal candidate is caring, dependable, organized, proactive, and collaborative, with a reliable car, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record. Must be comfortable with cats and guinea pigs.
If you’re looking for a consistent, well-compensated afternoon position with a family hoping to build a lasting relationship, we’d love to hear from you!
