A little bit about us

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and attentive nanny/care companion for a 21-year-old young woman with Angelman Syndrome. This is a Monday–Thursday position from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing general supervision, companionship, and light daily support in a calm and structured home environment. She is generally independent, easygoing, and enjoys calm daily routines such as using her tablet device and watching movies.

This position focuses on supervision, companionship, and light daily support. No medical care is required.

The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing the highest level of care. The young woman has a regular routine, is very low maintenance, and is easy to care for. Her parent is a working executive seeking the best possible caregiver in the area - someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive.

Primary responsibilities include providing general sitting and supervision, maintaining her daily routine, offering companionship, assisting with basic needs as appropriate, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and communicating with the parent as needed throughout the day. No medication administration, bathing, or showering (these are handled by her father)

Prior caregiving, nannying, or special needs experience is preferred but not required for the right person. A warm personality, strong sense of responsibility, and genuine care for others are essential.

Opportunity to transition to a full‑time live‑in position for the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional care, reliability, and fit with the family.
