More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over two years of experience caring for children, including part-time nannying during the school year and full-time summers for multiple families. In addition, I’ve done numerous babysitting jobs and volunteered regularly at an elementary school, where I helped support classroom activities and one-on-one attention for students.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a very outdoorsy person, so if the weather is good I try to spend as much time outside as I can. I love walking with the kids, taking them to the playground, and being imaginative and playing outside. I also love all types of arts and crafts, I find a lot of fun crafts to do on Pinterest. Puzzles and other learning activities disguised as fun are also a go-to for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust. As well as making kids feel safe, supported, and comfortable being themselves, while also being someone parents can fully rely on.
My experience with special needs children...
On top of nannying and babysitting experience, I have done lots of volunteer work. My mom is a ELL teacher at a low income school. During the school year, I tried to volunteer once a week for at least two hours. I was able to strengthen my ability to teach children throughout this. Many of her students had disabilities that impaired their speech, so I was able to learn to adapt to their needs. Overall I enjoy working with special needs kids and consider myself experienced.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my nanny kids once asked me if I was ‘alive when dinosaurs were alive.’ I was 16 at the time. I laughed so hard I almost cried.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Boise, ID: Hannah H.
Hi! My name is Hannah, and I am a recent Boise State graduate looking for a summer nannying position before I begin graduate school this fall.
I have worked as a swim instructor and swim coach at the YMCA for the past 3 years, working with children ages 3–16. Through those experiences, I’ve learned how to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment while also building strong relationships with both kids and parents.
I am also the oldest of six kids, so caring for children has always been a big part of my life! I love staying active, engaging with kids, and helping make everyday routines enjoyable and positive. I’m responsible, dependable, patient, and excited to find a great family to work with this summer!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Boise, ID: Kitty T.
I’m a grandmother that has spent much of her life caring for small children. I have had a daycare in my home as well as started a daycare that I ran for 4 years. My CPR and first aid has expired but I can retake the classes if needed. My strength are with infant and toddlers making them feel loved and secure. I am retired so in many ways I would love to give back to the young ones looking for love and comfort in a consistent routine. As well has helping parents juggle all that life throws at you. Kitty
