Hi! I’m a mother of three boys (10, 13, 15) with 10+ years of hands-on parenting experience and 4+ years of volunteer work caring for children ages 4–16. I provide calm, attentive, and intentional care rooted in trust, respect, and positive guidance.
A natural motivator and encourager, I love building children’s confidence and helping them thrive through engaging, play-based support. I currently work as a Behavioral Technician in ABA therapy in Charlotte, supporting children on the autism spectrum.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Sunday school for 4 years - running and leading it as Pastor's wife. From 4 years to 14 years. I'm very comfortable with babies too.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor activities - blanket time with babies, light massaging and movement for joints (I participated in a Baby Gym program). Just informal play and stimulation to keep them engaged - following objects with their eyes for example. Moving their bodies and free play. With kids - playing outside throwing ball, running and playing games. Playing cards indoors, folding paper, drawing, trying to get them to show interest in activities outside of technology as much as possible before the inevitable screen time. I love having fun with kids and getting them to laugh and play. Girls and boys differ of course. So for toddlers and older I get them forst to show me their interests and show Im interested in what they have to show me, win their trust and see where it leads from there

The most important part about being a nanny...

Staying within the wishes and parameters the parents set for sure. Regarding the child/children - becoming a trusted companion as soon as possible. Getting kids to laugh and enjoy being kids! For babies to laugh and play. To leave a good impression and experience behind every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a client on the autism spectrum - light autism. I've been working with her for several month now. Fully verbal and communicative, not resistant at all

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well my favorite non-paying caring-for-kids moment was having a boy with a difficult temperament getting it right to completely change his attitude after I told him a story and shown him some coping mechanism thats faith-based and he just bloomed!! It was beautiful and I was so so proud of him. After that incidence, when things got tough with friends he would shoot me a look, and smiling back he would remember and apply as best he can.
