A little bit about me

I took my first babysitting course at 12 and have been helping take care of babies and children on and off since then. While my career has been in marketing for the past 10+ years, I’m now pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My long-term goal is to work with couples and families, so supporting parents and children in a hands-on way feels like a wonderful extension of that path. In my free time I enjoy gardening, any sort of craft or home projects, reading fantasy fiction, hanging out with my dog, thrifting and repurposing clothing and vintage items. I’m married to my spouse, who is a trans woman, and being part of the LGBTQ+ community means it’s important to me to work with families who share those values of love and acceptance. While we don’t have children of our own, I cherish being an ‘auntie’ figure to many friends’ kids and am around babies and children often.
