A little bit about me

I'm an Auntie to 9, the oldest of them is 10 & the youngest is 1, So I have experience with all ages. I've had lots of experience baby sitting as well as being a nanny. I love to always be watching kids or just be surrounded by them all the time, its kinda like my happy place! I will be continuing school online for early childhood education & I've found it very easy to be a nanny while juggling school online because I'm able to do school on my own time when I'm not watching kids or during their nap times/quite times. With coming from a big family & being an aunt to 9, I've always been one to be more than happy to help out in anyway I can to just help make things easier on my siblings & make things run more smoothly in & outside of the house. I know first hand it can feel like it takes a village at times to raise kids so if I can be of any help to anyone & families its the most rewarding feeling to me. I'm available any weekdays & any additional weekends or date nights that I'm needed!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a student teacher in high school for two years & I also did a career exploration class where I helped at two different preschools. And besides my past nannying jobs, I've worked at a day care as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm a HUGE fan of Pinterest so I have so many things/ideas saved that I've recreated & have done with the past kids I've nannied for & with my nieces & nephews. I'm a child at heart so I love to play with kids & come up with a lot of fun creative tbings to do. I'm typically always a very energetic person so I'm always being active & productive in some way!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part about being a nanny is being punctual & reliable. And also being someone in another families life that has/is a positive influence to the kids & family as a whole. Someone that is there to help make things easier & run more smoothly in & out of the house.

My experience with special needs children...

While student teaching in high school I sat in on the special needs classes many times & worked with a lot of the kids & I'm familiar & experienced with working with them in a school/learning environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my best moments have been after awhile of working for a family, the parent or parents & the kids all start getting comfortable with me being around & its comfortable & relieving for everyone. I also love when the kids start to be so comfortable with me & look forward to seeing me & spending time together.
