I worked at Discovery Point Child Development for about 2 years. I worked as the Infant Room assistant teacher. I worked about 9 hours a day 5 days a week. My time there ended June of 2023. I became a nanny for a little boy with Schaaf Yang Syndrome for 4 months, but got married and moved up to TN.

The most important part of being a nanny is truly loving the kids. Love is the greatest gift anybody could ask for, and teaching a child how to be loved/how to love is such a crucial part of their emotional and mental growth.
My experience with special needs children...
Working at a Child Development Center, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of children. I have worked with 4-5 autistic children ages ranging from 17 months- 4 years old. After I left the Child Development Center, I was given the opportunity to work as a nanny to a 6-year-old boy with Schaff-Yang Syndrome and I had been his nanny for about 4 months until I recently moved!
