More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat for the Turpen family for a few months over the summer. The kids were ages 3, 5, and 7.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing art projects with my kids, baking with them and taking them to nearby parks to play ball!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of working with kids is making sure we are having fun! Its never just a job I love learning new things about my kids and having fun while Im doing it! I do everything I can to make sure kids feel excited to have a babysitter and feel comfortable being themselves in their home. I want kids to be excited to see what I have planned the next times I see them.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have explicit expierince with special needs children but I myself am type one diabetic and have been since a young age. I also have family members I've helped care for whom are special needs and Ive also worked with disabled kids through volunteer events so I am very willing to learn with children and families and accomidate their needs in any way I can!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My faviorite moment babysitting was with a three year old boy and 5 year old girl! I wanted to do something fun and engaging with the kids to keep them entertained so I decided to host a "diner" style dinner. I rolled out a large piece of brown paper over the dinner table for us to color on which kept them busy for a while, I let them help me cook dinner while we played music in the kitchen! the kids are pretty picky eaters but anytime they got to participate in making a meal they were more likely to eat it.

Babysitter Available in Tucson, AZ: Nicole G.
Hello! My name is Nikki. I am 25 years old, no kids of my own (yet! We're working on that), but I love working with kids. I am CPR/First Aid certified and I have worked in childcare settings such as in home caregiving, in home babysitting, schools, daycares, and churches. I love to sing and write stories and I believe creativity and joy are some of the most important traits a child can have. I am in school currently to get my Medical Assistant Certification where I hope to get my footing in working for a pediatrician. My ultimate goal is with continued education to become a pediatric nurse. I was also a paraprofessional for about a year working with special needs kids and I loved it. My brother has autism and he is my biggest joy. I love outdoors and nature, playing games, animals of all kinds and spending time with my family.
