A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a middle school math teacher. I have my Florida teaching license in elementary education K-6, secondary math 5-9, ESOL endorsed, and reading endorsed up to 12th. I’m currently working on my masters degree in middle grades mathematics education.

I’ve been working with kids since I was 17 years old. I starting in an early learning center/VPK where I worked with children ages 1 to 4. I also worked the after school care program with children at that school grades K-12. The last year and a half at that school, I worked as their drama club teacher. I put on 3 shows there.

After getting my degree, I started teaching at my current public school. I’ve been there for 3 years now teaching 6th grade math my first year, 6th and 7th grade math my second, and now 8th grade math/Pre-Algebra my third year.
