My experience with special needs children...
I worked with a 3 year old girl with Downs Syndrome for 3 1/2 months. We created a set schedule that we followed on a daily basis, that contained transportation to and from school. We then would work on speech skills and interacting with others. I loved watching her grow in many aspects of her life along with the smiles and laughter we shared together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I took the 3 children I previously nannied for to the beach, they wanted to bury each other in the sand , but it was better to let them bury me instead. That is when I turned into a mermaid.

Hi! I’m Ali, I’m 24, and I do have a couple years of experience working in a daycare being paid, but I actually grew up in a daycare ran from my home as a child. I like to say I “grew up raising children”. I have experience with kids of all ages from babies just a few weeks old to kids in grade school. I’ve done this my whole life and have always loved being around kids, and also have experience with special needs children. I’m very clean so keeping the house tidy throughout the day, cooking, things like that are no problem.
I also have a son of my own who is 18 months old. I don’t want to put him in daycare so I’m trying to find a job I can bring him to and still enjoy. I think this would be perfect for everyone involved, seeing as the child I would care for would have a little buddy to play with and so would my son:)
