I worked as a teacher/floater at Grow Academy from July '21 - April '22. Worked as a private nanny for two kids ages 2 & 4 from April '22 - January '23. I started my current job as a nanny and Learning Coach in January '23 and will be with them through the end of the school year at the end of May.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the zoo or the playground. I love to do arts and crafts. I'm a very competent swimmer and feel confident taking kid to the pool or lake.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping the kids understand themselves and the world around him. It's more than just watching a kid it's forming a bond and helping them learn.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with my youngest brother having Autism and myself having ADHD. I am always keeping up to date with terminology and how to handle different situations with kids who are neurodivergent. I worked as a buddy system buddy with each of a families three boys with autism at the church I used to attend. I am confident in my abilities to work with individuals with Special Needs.

At my current job, my favorite moment was when the 10 year old started to get frustrated and I watched as he used the destress techniques I've been teaching him and finish his assignment with out me interfering,
