A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Brookes, I’m 23 years old, and I have always had a passion for caring for children! I began babysitting as my first job at 13 years old, and from there, worked in positions ranging from teachers’ aid, to tutor, to full-time nanny. I’ve worked with/for many splendid families, within a wide variety of dynamics, and I’ve never met a child I didn’t adore. I strive to acknowledge and celebrate each child’s unique needs, personality, and communication style, to best reach their little brains and hearts. I entirely believe in treating children like people- the responsibility of fostering growth and joy in a tiny human is sacred to me, and I’ve recognized it since I can remember. Kiddos light up the world in my book, and caring for them is an honor and a privilege.
Additional Info- CPR certified, but I must get my certification renewed. I am, however, informed and experienced in the Heimlich maneuver on both children and adults, and basic/basic emergency first aid.
