I am the middle child in family and grew up taking care of my younger brother! I also worked in a church setting working as a teacher’s assistant in Sunday school. Growing up in a community like Denton I have gotten the wonderful chance to babysit for many friends and other families in the area. I soon moved up to working summer camps. Most recently I have been choreographing kids musicals from elementary age all the way up to high school ages. I have learned the skills to work with children both one on one AND in large group settings!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There are so many fun ways to have enrichment beside screens. I am big on creativity! I love to do arts and crafts (I usually supply the materials), read/story time, play make believe/pretend, play dress up, have dance “party’s”, board games, fun enrichment activities(learning without knowing it), and outdoor activity’s like bikes and scooters, park time, outside “adventurer” and many more activities in those realms.
