Creating a safe, loving and compassionate environment for children to “meet the world” is highly motivating to me . I love turning everyday moments into learning opportunities for kids by engaging with them through simple tasks, daily errands, and hands-on activities. I believe the best way for them to learn about the world is by experiencing it themselves - asking questions, problem-solving, and actively participating in their own lives. Whether we're grocery shopping, cooking, or fixing something around the house, I make sure they’re involved, curious, and learning through real life experiences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I am interested in this work because I believe the way we raise our children determines the type of world they will live in. It is perhaps the most important work for a family and society to do well. I have seen what happens when it is done well and when it is done poorly. I have been a nanny for 18 years and have worked with dozens of families during that time. I have learned how to turn a childhood dream of spending time with kids into a professional passion where both children and families thrive consistently with my support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I am currently working with a four year-old girl who struggles every time there is a change in her environment. To help her, I created a self-care plan for her any time she comes across a big change. Because of this plan, she has been able to discover and benefit from ideas about body regulation, processing her emotions and understanding what she needs to do when things feel out of her control. She is able to communicate with me when she is feeling the chaos of life, and we are able to take steps to remedy it effectively. This has done wonders for her development and has prevented many meltdowns.
