Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the years, I have been a Nanny to many families. Most of which either moved from the area, ending my employment, or the children became school age and I was no longer needed.
For 7 years, I was a School Bus Driver for a 4K-8 school. At that time, I drove 6 different routes and I knew most of my students well. I was also one of two Recess Supervisors watching over 200 students of mixed ages at a time.
Prior to my time at the school, I drove multiple special needs buses and vans. I also drove a route for students with Emotional Behavioral tendencies.

I enjoy reading books and teaching children about science, nature and the things around them.
I also enjoy teaching babies the words of the objects they are looking/pointing at or showing interest in.
I enjoy coloring, puzzles and hands on teaching/learning experiences.
I really value conversation with children. Engaging in what they are interested in or want to talk about.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Nurturing the physical, emotional and intellectual development of a child. As well as supporting their ever growing imagination. Connecting with the child and making them feel safe, accepted and valued.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children who have Emotional Behavioral tendencies along with children who have been diagnosed with Digeorge Syndrome, Hirschsprung's Disease, William’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Autism and ADHD.
