Greetings! My name is Emanie and I’m currently a senior at FSU majoring in Special Education. I am an active executive board member for the Council for Exceptional Children Florida chapter. I’ve always had a passion for children, since I was a little girl. I can remember always trying to help my siblings with homework as if I was the oldest, even though I was the baby. I started babysitting in high school which after high school led to me working as a full-time preschool teacher. I was a preschool teacher for 7 years. In between that span, I nannied for a year. My goal is to one day have my own preschool to meet the needs of my students with disabilities. I enjoy being a part of the developmental stage of the child. At the developmental stage there is so much to be learned and I love being that person to aid in the learning process.
