Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy making crafts, showing my students how anything can be exciting. My favorite saying is that anything can be made out of a handprint! I love showing my students how to utilize what is around them to create art.
While outside, there a multiple games that can be played to go along with any theme. A favorite among my students is "Shadowlands", where we run around playground trying to stay in the shadows. Using them as bridges or islands.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing in being in childcare is loving the children. The child needs to feel love not only at home, but when they are away from their parents. I always tell my students that my job is to keep them safe and happy. If they feel comfortable around me and see me as a safe space, then I have done my job.

I have worked with special needs children of all ages. I have done the training and taken the necessary classes to do so.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was watching how excited she would get everytime I would walk through the door, the oatter of feet and the squeal of "Ms. Dawn!!" Always warmed my heart
