More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a private family sitter for 5 years during my active duty time. I also worked for a company where I worked with multiple families- mainly infants and toddlers were in my care. I was also a high school level teacher for a detention center school in Maryland for a short time. I have also taught cheerleading and dance to children in the elementary school age range for a dance studio.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, going to the park, playing games, and watching tv!

Safety, to me is the most important. Every child deserves to be safe and well taken care of within my care.

My experience with special needs children...

Outside of having a cousin with down syndrome that I used to baby sit, I have been a habilitation tech where I worked with children that had autism and other developmental disorders.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having my client say that his favorite sitter/ care taker was "the brown girl". He was autistic and had a preference for colors and his was brown, so it was sweet to hear him say that!
