Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have served in many youth events, helping and caring for kids of a wide age range. I also have grown up caring for my younger siblings and still do occasionally but now they are more independent (the youngest is 11 years younger than me). I often take care of my infant nephew and have a lot of experience with babies.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking them outside to play, go for walks, and learn more about nature. I believe sunshine and fresh air are really important and good for the children’s health. I love to come up with fun crafts and experiments that help them to learn in a fun and creative way. For younger children I also enjoy helping them learn fine motor skills, such as correctly holding and using scissors and pencils, while making it fun for them.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with Children with special needs many times through Vacation Bible School at my church, as well side-by-side teaching individual high schoolers and young adults with special abilities through a program while working at Chick-fil-A.
