My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for multiple children with special needs. My job from [phone number hidden] was with a foster family who focused on children with special and medical needs. This allowed me to gain experience with children on the autism spectrum, with fetal alcohol syndrome, and other developmental delays. Additionally, I was also able to gain experience with many medical needs with this family including extreme allergies and colostomy bags.
