Hi families! My name is Emma, and I recently relocated to Nashville from Dallas, TX. I have over 8 years of paid childcare experience, including consistent babysitting for local families, volunteering through church programs, and hands-on, live-in care for my infant niece and toddler nephew.

I have been babysitting local families for the past eight years! I have also volunteered for my church’s Vacation Bible School the past six years, and numerous other volunteer activities for school curricular. I love to help out parents and spend time with kids when I can!

I enjoy doing a variety of activities with kids! This includes arts and crafts, playing outdoors, and encouraging educational games. I love reading stories while organizing fun sensory activities and engaging in imaginative play to help foster curiosity. I also enjoy planning age-appropriate outings and helping with schoolwork when needed!

The most important part about being a care taker is the trust parents place into care for their child. It’s a deep responsibility, knowing that you’re being trusted with a child’s safety, well-being, and development. Parents are putting their most precious part of their life into the hands of someone who may start out as a stranger, understanding that vulnerability is crucial. Building a bond of trust and providing a safe, nurturing environment is essential to honoring that responsibility.

I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and those with high-energy ADHD. I’ve also had the opportunity to assist in the special education sector at my church, where I developed skills in providing individualized attention and adapting activities to meet unique needs of each child. I’m patient, understanding, and committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments has been singing and dancing along to Ms. Rachel songs with kids. It’s always so much fun watching them light up with excitement and it’s a great way to bond while encouraging movement and learning.
