I minored in elementary education and was a Virginia state licensed teacher. I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of capacities and settings. Much of my work has been in early development, and I have taught many neurodivergent children for whom I have a special affinity for. I am also a mother.

It was many years ago, but I nannied for a family for a few years beginning at ages 4 and 6 until family schedules shifted and I was no longer needed. Then I was asked to return for a year when they were in middle school. I really enjoyed witnessing their growth, and the relationship with the family. We shared so many sweet moments, and I knew it was a gift. To be the custodian of someone’s most treasured child and those stolen moments.
