Hi! I'm a fully vaccinated 3rd year college student that grew up in a large family, looking for an opportunity to utilize my child care abilities while I'm not in school. I'm super energetic and creative, as well as empathetic and understanding of children’s feelings. I grew up in the Annapolis area, I love going on hikes, playing with my kitten, tending to my plants, and learning about nature in my free time. I have first aid and CPR training from my time in the Girl Scouts, and I don't mind cleaning or cooking for the family on occasion if asked. I love dogs and cats, and I'm willing to take care of your animals while i watch your children if needed!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to be a babysitter in high school, and I took child development classes, in which i got hands-on experience being a teachers aid for the affiliated daycare. I've also taken care of my younger cousins and sister my whole life, watching them from ages 1-13.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts that correspond with the upcoming holidays, like candy cane reindeer in Christmastime, and making paper 'fireworks' for the 4th of July. I also like taking kids to parks and on short hikes through nature trails to teach them about the world around them. I've found that educational activities appropriate for their age group, like science experiments and coloring pictures based on short stories is a great way to keep learning fun for kids, and help them find topics that interest them outside of school curriculums! I also used to be a professional fairy at the renaissance festival, so dress up and play pretend is a specialty of mine.
