My name is Hyacinthe, I'm 26 & I have been working in childcare for 8 years! I've been a nanny for 5 of those years, helping out as a house manager as well as traveling internationally with the family. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 8 years of caretaking experience, 5 of those for nannying. I have served five families over the years, providing individualized care for their children ranging from ages 6 months-18 years old. I have cared for special needs children as well, including those who are nonverbal & autistic. I'm studying basic ASL to better serve my clients if needed. Developed long-term, trustworthy & tight-knit relationships with the families. Supported the children’s emotional, social & developmental growth through age-appropriate activities. Assisted with homework, tutoring & early childhood educational activities. Managed household responsibilities including chores, errands & house projects from organization to renovation. Supported families during both domestic & international travel, including travel to three countries for half a month each.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite activities to do with children are creative activities because I am a creative myself. I love to do crafts, writing poetry, reading, listening to music & going with them to places such as the library or musical performances. I also love to travel because I get to go on special adventures with the child, creating fun, lifelong memories they'll cherish forever.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making the child feel they are safe & sincerely loved, that they are able to trust me & know that I am here to support them. Creating an environment where they can both have fun as well as learn & feel safe throughout it all is what I aim to do.

My experience with special needs children...

I have taken care of 2 special needs children in the past in one of my preschool classrooms.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment so far has been traveling to Europe with my last family of 3 years. Exploring Amsterdam, Germany & Japan with the little boy was so much fun! Going on adventures through the cities, playing at the beautiful parks, going hiking on mountains in Bavaria, even playing Legos with him on the 14 hour long flights was so much fun. I made memories that I will never forget!
