More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping things fun and engaging with kids—whether we’re doing arts and crafts, reading stories, swimming, or playing outdoors. From baking and building forts to singing, dancing, and imaginative play, I enjoy creating moments that spark joy, creativity, and confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most important parts of being a nanny to me is becoming like family. I believe in building trust and strong connections so children feel safe, loved, and supported, and parents feel confident knowing their child is in caring hands. I aim to create a home-like environment filled with patience, joy, and consistency, where I’m not just a caregiver but a dependable extension of the family.
My experience with special needs children...
I had the privilege of being a full-time nanny for a high-functioning autistic child for 2 years, up until he started school full time. During that time, I supported his daily routines, encouraged social and emotional growth, and created activities that matched his interests while gently introducing new skills. I focused on building consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, which helped him gain confidence and independence. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of working with children who have unique needs and taught me how important it is to combine structure with creativity and compassion.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when my nanny baby took his very first steps. We were in the living room playing, and he let go of the couch, wobbled toward me, and landed right in my arms. I cheered so loud I think I scared him a little—but then he laughed, and we both couldn’t stop smiling. Moments like that are what make being a nanny so special to me.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Scottsdale, AZ: Daniela F.
Hi! I’m a RN from Maine but I’ve lived in Nashville for the last 3 years! I’m going to be moving to Arizona in September! Before becoming a nurse, babysitting was my main job and I worked in the infant room at a daycare! I’ve always LOVED being around and taking care of children. I even do it as my nursing job - I work postpartum and Labor and delivery! It is so amazing to watch them grow and thrive! I’m looking for a part time job while I wait for my AZ nursing license and to start my job there mid October. After October, I’m still willing to babysit/nanny part time - my availability will be all over the place while I’m on orientation unfortunately. Please reach out if you think I’d be a fit!
Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Scottsdale, AZ: Amanda K.
My name is Amanda and I have spent my whole life working with kids. Growing up, I was a private nanny for a family with twins for just under a decade. While I was working for that family, I pursued a degree in elementary education. I went onto get my masters in teaching and learning with an emphasis in math intervention. I spent nine years teaching in a public elementary school, specifically in grades 2-4. I spent one year teaching grade 6 at a public middle school, and now I am doing some short term contracts with different districts in upper elementary school. Being one of the older siblings of a six child family, I have always been surrounded by kids. They have just naturally gravitated toward me my whole life. I've developed many skills along the way and truly enjoy the great work that I've done and continue to do.
