A little bit about me

My name is Haley Schubert and I am graduating with my Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State in December. I have hopes of becoming a travel speech language pathologist.

I volunteered as a dance instructor for young girls over five years at a local dance studio. I have worked at multiple summer day camps & have consistently cared for children ranging from 1 month-13 years of age, including children with intellectual disabilities. I typically care for multiple children at once. One family I watched consistently had a 1 mo/4 yo/5 yo, another with 1 yo/4 yo/6 yo, another with a 4 yo/7 yo, another with a 11 yo/13 yo. During my caregiving and nanny experience I have prepared meals, maintained order throughout the house, organized closets/cabinets as children were sleeping, washed laundry and dishes.

I am very adventurous, outgoing and love to explore ! I grew up riding ATVs, fishing, hiking —so I love the outdoors and am always up for an adventure!
