I have several years of experience working with and caring for children. Growing up, I regularly babysat, and I also worked as a lifeguard, where I learned the importance of safety, responsibility, and staying attentive. This past summer, I worked as a nanny for four children in Costa Rica, gaining valuable experience managing multiple children and keeping them safe, happy, and engaged. I am currently an Elementary Education major at Spalding University, and I love working with children and helping them learn and grow. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

One activity I love doing with kids is arts and crafts! I enjoy planning fun, creative projects like painting, coloring, making friendship bracelets, and creating seasonal crafts. These activities allow children to express themselves, use their imagination, and develop their creativity while having fun. I can easily adapt activities to different ages and abilities so every child can participate and feel included.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through helping my mom, who was a special education teacher. This gave me the opportunity to learn the importance of patience, understanding, flexibility, and meeting each child’s individual needs. I understand that every child learns and communicates differently, and I believe in creating a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every child feels safe and valued.
