The most important part about being a nanny...
Sharing life and experience. I love to be there when the parents aren’t able to. Not to replace, but be there for the kid. Also I know parenting is hard and it takes a village. I’m always grateful and glad to be apart of that village. I’m here for both the parents and children. The breath of fresh air the parents get knowing their children are protected lifts me up.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never taken care of special needs children, however I do adapt well and learn quick.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was during the covid years of online learning. I was taking care of two children, and they were having trouble with their learning. Now of course I know the answers to everything but it was really funny to watch the little boy struggle. I couldn’t help him at the time, but once I was I stepped in and showed him where he went wrong. That moment ended up in laughter between him, his sister, and I.
