A bit about me; I'm currently a grad student for a Couples and Family Therapy program. My career has been split between working diligently with children and families, both in the mental health sector and providing child-care/nannying. My friends would describe me as level-headed, grounded, compassionate, empathetic and nurturing (I make a mean chicken soup and tea)! I definitely have a tremendous amount of experience working with young children as a full-time teacher within a headstart daycare, potty training, organizing lesson plans, and fun activities, etc. I love children and thats part of the reason I'm going back to school currently. Also, I have no issues with caring for pests I love both dogs and cats.

I worked diligently with a previous child Lyla that used to have bowel issues in the midst of potty training (she had trouble holding in her..number two's). One day as I was cooking she went to the bathroom to wash her hands to prep for dinner and said "Look Miss Jen!" She'd finally pooped in the toilet! We had some celebratory ice-cream and took a lovely picture (LOL) for her mom.
