is being attentive to a child's needs. Not all kids are the same and require the same attention. It is the nanny's job to figure out what a child needs and how to address it.

The most important part about being a nanny...
was when I was taking care of a 2 and 5 year old and I had them read to me. The two year old wasn't reading the words, but she was explaining the pictures. It was the most adorable thing ever.
