More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been babysitting and nannying for several years and have worked with kids of all ages. I’ve also volunteered in elementary classrooms and coached Girls on the Run, which has given me experience working with lots of different personalities and age groups. I’ve helped with everything from school pick-up and homework to meals, bedtime, and keeping kids entertained. I love building relationships with the families I work with, and I always try to be someone both parents and kids can count on.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting kids out of the house and doing things they’ll actually have fun doing! I love going to the park, doing crafts, baking, playing outside, reading books, building forts, swimming, or just making up games together. I’m also totally happy staying home and having a movie day or doing puzzles if that’s what they’re in the mood for. I like following their interests and making sure they’re having fun while still keeping a good routine.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making kids feel safe, loved, and comfortable while also giving parents peace of mind. I want parents to know they can trust me, and I want their kids to have someone they can laugh with, learn from, and look forward to spending time with. Every family is different, and I always do my best to fit into what works best for them.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with special needs as a swim instructor and through babysitting. Those experiences have taught me that every child is different, and I love taking the time to figure out what helps each child feel comfortable and confident. I’ve learned to be patient, flexible, and celebrate the little wins, and I’m always happy to learn from parents so I can provide the best care possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite part of nannying is when you know you’ve built a real bond with the kids. The girls I nanny now always ask if I can live with them forever and treat me like I’m their big sister. Watching that relationship grow over time is so rewarding, and it’s honestly my favorite part of the job.

I am a sophomore at Boise State University for Psychology! I am from a huge family, including about 30 cousins on my dad's side so I have done a fair share of babysitting, but haven't become a nanny! I love to be outside, going on walks, and enjoying the weather. I weirdly enjoy cleaning, and find it comforting when I organize. I want to become a nanny because I enjoy working with children, and I have loved watching all my young cousins grow up!
