Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My former nanny family lived near a HUGE city park that had a massive play place and zoo. I'd say 3-4 days out of 5 were spent there. We had picnics, walks, brought there dog out and played lawn games.
During rainy weather we would stay inside, sometimes have a movie night (only on Fridays haha) or curl up and read books together.
Snowy days were mostly spent inside unless it was warm enough and then we'd have a fun play day outside making forts, snowmen and whatever else we could think of.
The girls were super crafty and their mom would buy us lots of supplies every week, we would usually do this after school before dinner and after homework.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the safety and wellbeing should always be number one but I also believe the nurturing and care for a young one to help bringout their personalities is always rewarding. Having good communication with the parents and hopefully always being on the same page is important too and I strive to have a good relationship with both parent and child!
My experience with special needs children...
I have previously worked as a respite and support worker to a boy (9 at the time) for just under 2 years. This was in 2015
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favourite moments was when I got married to my long term boyfriend, the girls had never met him and so one day, their mom invited both him and I over for dinner and the girls took turns grilling him on how much he knew about me because they knew EVERYTHING about me apparently. When they were done the eldest looked him right in the eyes (she was 7 at the time) and said "I guess you can have our Katie".
Their mom, my husband and I all laughed. They really didn't like him at first, they thought he was stealing me away from them but eventually they warmed up and even though I stopped working for them in February 2024 but my husband and I get invited to all of their birthday parties and it's just really nice to be loved and appreciated by such a wonderful family!

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Bend, OR: Grace N.
Hello! My name is Grace Neumaier, and I would love a summer nanny job! I would live locally in Bend for around 12 weeks and have extensive experience with children ages 0-11, as I had twelve foster siblings, am one of six kids, and have babysat for well over five years. I can cook very well, am a thorough cleaner, and am more than willing to do laundry and other household chores. As a side note, I do not own a car and would bike most of the time, though I have a reliable friend who would drive me if needed! :)

Hi there!
I am a mom of a toddler boy born 6/5/22. I have one part time (Monday-Wednesday) opening in my home for a toddler. I have 16 years of experience as a nanny/child care provider. We have a cat and a dog so must be comfortable with pets! We are a very outgoing fun family and as a nanny, I love to do arts and crafts, take kiddos outside and let them explore! We love going to the park that is 2 blocks down from us, sensory bins and playing/learning in our playroom! Please let me know if you’re interested and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, my name is Robyn! I started nannying two years ago and have fallen in love with it. I have a passion for caring for children and plan to continue pursuing my passion by becoming a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. I graduated from nursing school in June and completed my senior internship in a NICU. I am hoping to relocate within the next year to pursue my career as a NICU nurse, but in the meantime am hoping to continue nannying for another family!
To tell you more about myself, I am a wife and dog mom to two pups! I love animals, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.
