I have done child care since i was 12. Of course that was light and minimal. As a young adult i started doing after school care, and met my families there. I started off doing date nights which included park trip, cooking dinner, and bed time routine. Then i moved to full time summer nanny where i would come in the morning, male breakfast, drop off and pick up from scheduled events, take the kids home yo eat snacks, then to the pool/park. After all that comes home for lunch and screen time. That would be a normal day. My experience all a nanny is great but my experience as a mom had given far more insight on taking care of a child. The needs and wants are not so black/white. I understand the struggle but also the consistency that needs to happen to keep the happiness.
