A little bit about me

Hi everyone! I have an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been in childcare professionally for over 12 years and in reality, since I was a small child myself! I’ve worked with all age groups and across diagnoses— including autism and cerebral palsy. I provide academic and emotional education while your child is in my care; I also have the ability to do some light cleaning and cooking as needed. I’m CPR and AED certified as well as being certified by Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children. Open to nannying and/or babysitting and I’m willing to be flexible with scheduling and pay.

Having a passion for children and wanting to advocate for the most vulnerable population, I decided to pursue a path that would allow me to do just that. I have been a Child and Family Therapist for the past 12 years. Obtaining my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling was merely a formality. Labeled “nurturing” in grade-school, I have truly always looked out for others in a motherly manner. Children are naturally drawn to me and I don’t take that lightly. I have been able to care for children in a multitude of capacities over the course of my life. Professionally, I have had the privilege to not only be a counselor to children in practice, but a mentor to all who surround me. I truly believe in the quote “it takes a village to raise a child” and anytime a child is in my vicinity, I am apart of that child’s village. Ensuring safety first, genuine empathy and compassion, as well as constructive guidance.
