I used to be a babysitter/nanny for my cousins. For 6 years every summer I flew to Oklahoma to watch and provide a daily activity list with an hour of outside play, to even helping with school, helping reading and more.

I like to draw and color, I enjoy doing art and crafts and hands on experiences, it helps develop hand and eye coordination. I enjoy swimming and playing. I enjoy “role “ playing games like tag, princesses, mermaids, ninjas. Really what ever they want to do I’m down for.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is being there for the kids if the need someone to confide in or just talk with. I care a lot for the kiddos and am willing to do everything in my power to keep them happy, collected, and most importantly safe.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother has cerebral palsy, I care for him when he comes to town, I also was a care giver for my cousins for months at a time in the summer and one of them has autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory was taking the three kiddos I was watching to a splash park and we just ran around and had a good time, a ice cream truck “unknowingly” showed up and I bought treats for everyone while we swung on swings.
