Hello!! My name is Lauren and I am a sophomore at the University of Illinois Chicago on the pre-nursing track. I have always loved working with children, which inspired me to start my own volunteer organization, Helping Hands. Through this program, l've tutored kids, planned holiday activities, and volunteered at schools and community centers to support after-school programs. I also have hands-on babysitting experience caring for my younger cousin, which taught me how to be patient, dependable, and creative when engaging with children of different
ages.
