I have spent time as a Daycare/ Preschool teacher as well! I was hired as the lead teacher for infant/ toddlers age ranging from 1-2 years. During that time I also gained teaching experience with children aged 0-5.

I enjoy creating art projects and coming prepared for the day with activities tailored to the children’s individual unique interests. I also enjoy encouraging outdoor play, sensory play, and finding age appropriate activities and games.

The most important part about this job is definitely the fact that I get the opportunity to work closely with families in need and individualize my care to their unique needs and preferences. I absolutely love that I am able to grow close to families and children, leaving a lasting positive impact on their childhood and family as a whole.

I have experience working with special needs children, specifically children on the Autism spectrum. I gained my experience in this area through my time as a daycare teacher and in certain households as a nanny as well.
