More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Special Education Paraprofessional at East Jackson Elementary, I was a Toddler Teacher at ABC Daycare, a Summer camp counselor, I owned a Housekeeping Business, I helped raise my nieces and nephews while I was in college. I was a Middle School Basketball coach. I have been coaching Gymnastics for over 4 years on and off ranging from the ages of walking to Highschool athletes. I am a Games and Activities Director for a small Outreach program for a rural poverty stricken area in Mississippi. I have babysat countless times and also Dog sat for many family friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to spend time outdoors with children. I also enjoyed doing art projects, and activities to create. Baking has been such a great experience with my nieces as well. Reading and learning sign language has also been fun to teach with kids too! when I was younger I was certified to be a lifeguard and swimming would be an activity I would love to do with children!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe what truly matter in being a nanny is full communication and trust. Being on the same page with the parents and children can create a healthy environment for the child to learn and thrive socially and emotionally. During a child's developmental stage I think nurturing, love, safety, stability, and learning to be some of the key components.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children in special needs programs through a school setting, I have also worked with children in the daycare with feeding tube care needs. I also run the special needs open gym at my Gymnastics gym. Every child is different an unique and learning what is best for the individual and what works best is something I have found to be very easy for me.
