Love going outside, doing arts and crafts and I really feel like teaching them in general like singing songs reading books counting etc is very important. My almost 2 year old helps me put laundry away throws things out in the trash counts to 10. I think teaching them in fun ways is critical. Also kids love structure. Having a routine is very important to us and them and they love it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Make sure the kids are safe and taken care of is the first priority! Teaching them but having fun is important and of course the extras of having a few things done around the house makes it a deal! ☺️
My experience with special needs children...
I used to work for perspectives corporation in high school. I had 2 clients on separate days. One child was autistic and the other had quit a few medical conditions!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Whenever I worked for perspectives I was with one client MWF after working with this boy for a week he knew what days I was going to be at the house waiting for him when he got off the bus. Whenever the bus monitor would help him down she said he knew you were going to be here because he started laughing as soon as we got close to the house. He would do this every time I came to work with him!
