Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My best friend opened her home to be a home-daycare, for 6-8 children, ages 2-4 yrs, plus before and after school kids. We managed meal prep as a team, as well as outside play times, she took lead on business and in spoiling the lil ones, I was the storyteller, silly song/dancer, arts/crafts, let's make learning fun, teacher. Before the day started at the home daycare I also worked for a family of six, parents worked days, and long hours. The four school agers needed breakfast/lunch meal prep. In the afternoon they rode the bus to the home daycare, they'd catch up homework, play games, and have wind down time. Any late nights I would take them home, meal prep, with light house work. Watching children grow up, showing morals/values and respect with support on school tasks, sports, those bad days, and simple daily life pitfalls. Being a teacher, nanny, babysitter, is a reward all in itself.
