A little bit about me

I was raised in a very close, very conservative, community. I was born and bred to be a mommy, begining with my first sewing class at age 8, followed by my first babysitting business at age 12. I nannied in the Washington D.C. area in my 20's, and loved it. I still keep in touch with the family I nannied for, and I'm proud to say that the girl I nannied has grown into a woman who has become a most precious friend. Over the last few years I built a small brand marketing firm. Working with small businesses, I would optimize their product(s) via multi-media outlets. However, recently I have been wanting to take my training and talents in another direction i.e. child care, house care/management role. I am multifaceted in the fields of leadership, care, and responsibility, therefore I believe that I would be a great addition to your household staffing.

I try to cater the activities to the children, specific age and needs i.e. we would make Play-dough, go to the library, go to the park, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny is communication. Clear communication cut down any issue or unresolved need. I often recommend monthly meetings with parents to go over expectations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would recommend asking the kids who are nanny. I’m quite sure they will mention chores as a punishment, singing to loud music in the car, and lots of snuggles.
