Hello, I am Colombian, I am 36 years old and in my youth I studied nursing assistant in my country, during the last years I have dedicated myself to the care of children, during 2023 I worked in a kindergarten with children between 1 and 4 years old in Colombia, I returned to Raleigh and I currently take care of children, I live in love with them, I love to teach them songs in Spanish, as well as colors, numbers and various words, I have as a principle that the game is the main learning activity for them, along with the exploration of new things and textures. I love to teach having fun, and when I'm with the kids, I'm just a girl, but with a sense of responsibility.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

2 years ago I took care of a 4-month-old baby in Brookhaven (Raleigh), but I had to go back to my country. However, two and a half years later I came back and I was with the same family taking care of their baby number 3 of two months until a few weeks ago that they left completely for Chicago. I currently take care of a 15-month-old baby from Monday to Thursday. Also, during 2023 in Colombia, I worked in a nursery with children between 1 and 4 years old. In my family life, I have always been the aunt who takes care of the children and takes them on walks and new adventures.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Enjoy de pool, sings sons in Spanish, I like to teach Spanish and all time speak with the kids in Spanish, playing with the toys, running and many activities, depending the age and space in the house.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think that the most important in my life is will be made all with love, but when i work with kids is more important made all with love and passion, learning all time but funny, be patient and happy all time. For me, the babies and kid is the most important treasure each families.

My experience with special needs children...

I am always very committed to the development of children and even more so if there are special needs, I look for the right activities so that the child through play advances in his development, if they has therapies, I like to be present to know what he could do at home to complement what the doctors do, among other particular activities for each case.

I love when we made the activities outside because the kids enjoy to much and they are to much happy all day.
