Hi there! I'm Robin, an experienced nanny who recently moved to Austin to be closer to my daughter. I've been babysitting for local families and am now looking for a consistent, long-term position with a wonderful family.

Prior to Austin, I spent the last 4½ years caring for the same family in California, starting when the children were 4 and 6 years old. Building a lasting relationship with that family was one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I also have experience as a substitute teacher, supporting children's learning and development.

I'm warm, dependable, and caring. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your children are in loving, capable hands. I value open communication, consistency, and creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a substitute teacher for six years at the charter school my own children attended. I worked with children from kindergarten through 7th grade and also helped out in the school office. I really enjoyed being around the kids, getting to know their personalities, and being part of their school experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with children, talking with them, listening to their stories, and seeing the world through their eyes. We might read books, make crafts, play games, bake something yummy, explore outside, or let our imaginations run wild with pretend play. I enjoy encouraging children to try new things, learn at their own pace, and have fun along the way. Sometimes the simplest moments, sharing a laugh or having a good conversation, end up being the most special.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, it's all about building a bond of trust and love over time. I want children to feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves around me. I love watching their personalities blossom, helping them work through challenges, and being someone they can count on. Being invited into a family's life is something I truly value, and I feel lucky to be part of a child's growing-up years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite moments are watching the children I've cared for reach milestones, whether it's starting school, learning something new, or accomplishing something they've worked hard on. Seeing how proud and excited they are makes me feel proud, too. It's so rewarding to have been part of their journey and to see how much they've grown.
