I have over 100 hours of working with children in the classroom, and have been a overnight nanny on and off for a family for the past 3 years.

The most important part about being a nanny is getting to build relationships with the children and getting to experience all the wonderful things about working with children, and getting to watch them grow. In addition, I think that being a nanny who is fun, willing to go do things, but still has structure is important as well.

I have been a para-educator for children with special needs for two years. These children have ADHD, Autism, OCD, and emotional behavioral disorders. I am also a tutor for a child who has Autism who I work with during the school year.

My favorite moment of being a nanny would definitely have to be when me and the kids would go out and do something anywhere from going to the pool, to the park, taking them to summer activities around their community.
