The most important part about being a nanny...
I cared for a disabled little boy with speech delay. He did not speak at all. I stayed with him while his family was away. We picked the yellow daffodils, and I encouraged him to pronounce "yeah" and "oh". So on his family's return, I asked him to tell them the color of the flowers. Everyone was so delighted that the little guy was able to say "yeah-oh", and he was so proud of himself!
