In addition to over a decade of nannying, I’ve worked in daycare settings, volunteered at children’s programs, often assisting with newborns and postpartum care. I’ve also frequently stepped in to help care for my 24 nieces and nephews, giving me extensive experience with multiple children, different age groups, and various household dynamics.

I love engaging kids in creative and developmentally enriching activities whether it’s arts and crafts, storytime, sensory play, imaginative games, nature walks, or building things together. I also enjoy incorporating learning moments throughout the day, like fun educational games, reading aloud, and practicing social-emotional skills in ways that feel natural and fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was helping a shy, non-verbal toddler build enough confidence to say their first few words with me through play and consistent, loving encouragement. Witnessing that moment and seeing their parents' joy was unforgettable and reminded me of the deep impact caregivers can have on a child’s growth.
