Is to go the extra mile to bring a safe environment around the child, to keep the child engaged and creative, and from time-to-time have some relaxing moments to calm the child's mind ☺️

I have helped a child with special needs within the past 2 years how to read with confidence and also speak-allowing the child to feel calm and assured how to know what they were going to say.

My most sweet nanny moment was having a very productive and effecting reading time with a special needs child. The child was doing so well with words he was struggling on, and he even read more than they usually would🥺
The child was so proud of themselves they had a little snack and even went down for a nap, even though the child was not a fan of naps.
