I have done many volunteer programs for special needs children and adults. I've taken care of children with autism and cerebral palsy! I'm very comfortable with children who need a more direct dedication to help.

Painting, coloring, reading, swimming, walking, the park/playground. Mentally stimulating activities, basically the fun teacher on Pinterest! Watching movies, and teaching specific manners parents deep desired.

Cerebral Palsy and autism.
I have many family members who have autism including my sister who has a mild form. Cerebral Palsy I've taken care of 2 children, one I've known since she was a baby and the other was for a month. I helped with some hygenic requirements and of course clothing, feeding, and medications.

I was a nanny to a couple different families for a little over a year, ages ranged from 3mos-6yrs! For the past few summers, I've volunteered at Trail West Lodge, a family Young Life camp in Colorado, where I was a Kids Club teacher and got to teach 3-7yo's about Jesus! I worked as a para at a K-6th elementary school for a little over a year, I helped in every grade level. Growing up, my mom, aunt, and grandma have always had their own in home daycares, (and still do!) I've been surrounded by newborns and kids of all ages- my whole life! I adore them.
